Every week during the 2008 season, a select panel of former Shoremen will pick one of our players as the Pizza Plus Player of the Week. Heading up the selection committee is Pizza Plus proprietor and former All-SWC running back Frank Baird.   The winner will receive an extra large pizza with his choice of toppings and will have his photo added to the “Wall of Fame” at Pizza Plus. 

       Our final winner for the 2008 season is senior QB Pete Hart.  It’s no secret that Pete’s season didn’t go as well as we all would have liked. But in the second half of the Highland game, down 28-3 against a tough defense that knew the Shoremen had to throw, Pete brought the Shoremen passing attack to life.  He hit Dan Schneider with passes of 42 and 33 yards on one drive, and capped the scoring on a 54 yard strike to Ryan Kirkpatrick.   Congratulations, Pete!!   Stop in any time for your pizza at 690 Center Road in the Pin Oak Plaza.
