Avon Lake quickly and efficiently disposed of
an overmatched Fairview squad 49-0 Friday night, in what was most likely last
meeting ever between these long-time foes. The Shoremen dominated in all phases
of the game as six different players scored touchdowns.

Early in the second period Trey Stross
returned a punt about 40 yards to the 20 yard line. On the next play Trey
caught a perfect pass from Tift in the end zone to make it 21-0. Again the
Warriors went three and out, but this time Stross had trouble fielding a punt

series in the second half, stretching their lead to 35-0 on a four yard run by
Bobby Doyle. Maxx Schmidt did some nice running on the next offensive series
