Iowa wideout Trey Stross is healthy again and right in the thick of the Hawkeye offense.  On Saturday Trey caught 5 passes for  69 yards with a long gain of 33 yards.  Unfortunately for Iowa, his 11 yard touchdown reception accounted for all of their scoring in a 27-7 loss to Penn State. Stross has scored TD’s in both games he’s played since returning from a hamstring injury.

In other action Saturday:

·       Matt Kostelnik had 3 tackles and an interception that he returned 42 yards to set up a touchdown as Mount Union blanked Ohio Northern 44-0.  The Raiders have outscored their first five opponents by a total of 301-24.  Who else could score 44 points and see their average per game go down?

·       Chris Rau had five tackles for Georgetown, but the Hoyas continue to struggle, losing to Penn 42-13.

·       Ian Pace’s Fordham team downed Lehigh 28-18.  The Rams are off to a nice start this year with a 2-0 record in the Patriot League, and a 4-2 overall mark.

·       Andrew Means chipped in with four receptions for 29 yards and his Indiana Hoosiers upped their record to 5-1, 2-1 in the Big Ten, with a 40-20 win over Minnesota.
