Matt
Kostelnik scored two touchdowns within 10 seconds in
the first quarter Saturday for Mount
Union as the Purple
Raiders demolished Otterbein, 71-14. Kostelnik recovered a fumble in the end zone to put the
Raiders up 14-0. Then, on the first play
after the kickoff, Matt intercepted a pass at the Otterbein 24 and raced in to
the end zone (click here for
a photo). He also made four tackles and
rang up one sack for good measure. Way
to go, Matt!!
· Jon Schroeder carried 14 times for 59
yards, caught one pass for 32 yards, and scored on a four yard run in Ashland’s come from
behind win over Hillsdale.
· Andrew Means sat out Indiana’s
35-28 loss to Southern Illinois as a precautionary
measure. In last week’s game against Ball State,
Andrew caught a pass for 32 yards over the middle and was knocked cold on a
helmet-to-helmet shot from a safety.
The defender was flagged for 15 yards on the illegal hit. Andrew assures us he’ll be back in action
this week versus Connecticut.
