senior LB Mike D’Andrea is not yet
100% recovered yet from his latest surgery.
Mike is waiting to hear whether the NCAA will grant him a medical redshirt
for the 2004 season, which would give him an extra year of eligibility. WR Andrew
Means has made the travel team
at Indiana U. Andrew
is currently trying to recover from a shoulder separation. RB Bobby Doyle and long snapper Jack
Rufus are both starting at their respective positions for the Air Force Academy’s J.V. squad;

- In Oberlin’s 30-27 loss to CWRU, Senior captain Zach Lewis caught four passes for
32 yards and added one carry for 11 yards.
Senior Shawn Brunner had five solo tackles including a sack.
- The all-time rushing leader for the Shoremen, Ashland College
sophomore Jon Schroeder, is
off to a good start in the first two games of 2005. In limited duty as the Eagles number two
RB, Jon has 24 carries for 168 yards and two TD’s, including a 72
yarder. Jon also has 1 catch for
10 yards.
- Starting safety Matt Kostelnik
recorded two solo tackles and a pass breakup in the Purple
Raider’s season-opening win over Washington (Missouri). Matt also starts on all of the kick
return and coverage teams.
