The most recent word on Mike D’Andrea is that he is recovering well from his latest surgery and should be back on the field for the Buckeyes in three or four weeks. Best wishes to Mike from Shoremen fans everywhere!

In Saturday’s action:

• Jon Schroeder carried 10 times for 32 yards, includinga 13 yard scoring run, as Ashland shut out Mercyhurst 45-0. Scott Bennett had six tackles, one for a loss, for Mercyhurst
• Shawn Brunner had five tackles and a sack, but Oberlin lost a heartbreaker to kenton by a score of 21-20
• Matt Kostelnik was the leading tackler for Mount Union in the Purple Raiders 42-24 win over Capital. Matt had 11 tackles with one for a loss.
